Sgt. Maloney was involved with SMFR, MOVE, and International Outreach during his time at SMC. From this, he discovered his passion for service and grew a range of knowledge about marginalized populations and effective communication skills locally and abroad. He cannot imagine another job that could provide as much impact on his community as SBPD has. Sgt.
